Caption This is a stylistic performance, derived from a series of autobiographical and ethnographic conversations, that focuses it's attention on ‘trolling’. 

We now live in an online world and it is important that we recognise how powerful it’s use can be.

 

The performance explores how social media can effect the lives of young people in today’s generation.  Focusing on a friendship group and how social media platforms can be misused when pressures to fit in and jealousy take over. The show will project realistic outcomes of what could happen when this behaviour is not addressed.

Our follow up workshop uses creative techniques to address the themes of the performance as we, collectively, aim to rid of the ‘troll’ for good! The workshop allows the participants to find intervention moments for the group of characters in the show, giving them the skills and tools to put this into real life and not become a bystander when witness to trolling or cyber bullying.
